Gift Ideas and Indie-Publisher Support

I have been bringing awareness to everyone I meet and all over the internet on my website and many social media sites through my illustrated children's book, "The Strange Disappearance of Walter Tortoise" ever since I met with award-winning filmmaker Robert Lundahl and heard him tell me of his making the "Who Are My People?" documentary. The book covers this travesty in our pristine deserts from the animals' perspective and includes Alfredo (La Cuna de Aztlan Sacred Sites Protection Circle) as a main character. I have also been posting every article I can find about the solar industry's mistakes, problems, even a new distressed land solar maps etc.  (See my website www.TheEarthwormBook.com)
At the screening in San Diego of "Who Are My People?" I introduced Robert and opened up the meeting by reading an excerpt from the book and talked about what had moved me to write and illustrate it. Several women present expressed delight as they had been hoping for a way to present this problem to children, and now here was the way.

The outdoor accessories that your home must have

Here at EarthwormArtRoom we want you to enjoy home aesthetics functionality and living life with joy. Here are some great ideas and items to help from YesComUSA.

Your garden can become an additional liveable space with the use of well-chosen outdoor accessories. These products are more than simply the standard chairs or patios. They can include space to hold livestock, landscaping items which make a real impression on visitors, or even up-market tables and chairs that perform more than one function. Having the ability to use these accessories from the garden allows homeowners to change their garden from the boring and restricted space into one that is at one's heart of the house, knowning that can be used throughout every season.

1) Landscape accessories
In case you decide that what the garden really needs is texture - more hills or hollows rather than just a straight, flat piece of grass, then landscaping accessories may be your first choice. With these items in the garden, it is possible to make rockeries which lift the soil level, or carefully mark out a curving path between flowerbeds that creates the garden seem larger than it turns out to be. These are a way of making sure that your garden looks as though it has more to make available, blending mystery and eye-catching circumstances to create a whole new look to the backyard.

2) Seating and Shade
An unusual number of gardens lack accessories, for example chairs, benches or gazebos. Because of this, they have nowhere for people to sit, as well as to shelter during rain. Pergolas is one way to ensure that people stay dry, but gazebos could also have seating attached, which produce a place of rest and shade. Canopy Replacement Top  gazebo replacement covers are really easy to find, and the right one can complement a garden, or other features, making sure that it looks great in your outdoor space.

3) Drinking and eating
One thing which most gardens really should have as a matter of course is a table. These are generally vital not merely for parties, and also to allow visitors to enjoy their gardens when they like. Tables can be purchased in a variety of styles, including some which have canopies in the middle, and others which may be used as barbecues by removing a central panel. They can also be used to store drinks and glasses within a party, helping guests to advance more freely around the garden.

4) Cooking and Planting
One important thing which a lot of people enjoy having inside their garden is often a barbecue. Modern styles include those which can be changed into firepits. These allow the home owner to incorporate an extra kitchen for their house, and tend to be valued in the summertime, when the sunshine encourages website visitors to cook their food while on an open flame. It is just a good idea to help keep metal items covered, including using gazebo replacement covers to protect the barbecue. Together with cooking accessories, keen gardeners might also be prepared to consider growing their own vegetables. It is a useful money-saving exercise, and home-grown crops such as cucumbers, tomatoes and peas always taste as good as shop-bought produce.

5) Keep Animals
Everybody is turning to self-sufficiency to prevent paying extortionate supermarket prices, and keeping animals is one way to cut back on what you have to buy. For most animal keepers, hens will be the perfect starting point. A good idea is provide the birds with some shade by installing a gazebo, which may be easily installed by purchasing gazebo replacement covers from yescomusa.

The Coast News: Children's author talks earthworms

ENCINITAS — Author Alicia Previn has penned and illustrated two children’s books in recent years with very different focuses.
Her first, “The Earthworm Book,” illuminates the importance of the soil-dwellers. This year, she released “The Strange Disappearance of Walter Tortoise” — a book that explores what it means to be sustainable in light of the burgeoning green industry in the Mojave Desert.
